To welcome to Christmas festival, the cast of "A Chip Off The Old Block" appeared on the Street Of Early Republic Of China to "remember the past Christmas party". Each member of the cast also arrived dressed up as a classic figure; Myolie Wu pretended to be Audrey Hepburn, Shirley was Marilyn Monroe, and Ron Ng was James Dean. There was also a dance competition, and the one who had the most star stickers stuck on them won. As a result, it was Louis Yuen who had his face all covered up with stickers.

Shirley dressed up quite revealing immediately stole the limelight, as the weather that day was quite cold. It was so cold that she had a runny nose, so when she was asked if she was worried she will get sick? She smiles: "It'll be alright once I drink something hot. My first time pretending to be Monroe was quite interesting, because my mouth is alredy big, but I still needed to draw it bigger." (Needed to add a spot?) "An even greater woman's taste!" Shirley Yeung and Steven Ma appeared in Repulse Bay as guests of the "Show Care To Children - Po Leung Kuk Children Sponsership Charity Parade" conducted by Hong Kong's Lamborghini Reventon and the Po Leung Kuk. The two also claims that they support the sponsoring of children.

Steven said that in order for him to attend this event, he missed watching Lin Dan in badminton competition, but also says that it was alright as it was for charity. As for Shirley, she spared no effort to deny the rumours that she has been saving up for her marriage with boyfriend, Gregory Lee. However, she does admit that she has been working hard to earn money. Shirley says: "Because during February and March of next year, I will be filming a new series. At the moment I'm just working hard to earn extra income. I will also work hard during Christmas and New Years!"

Shirley and Steven both show a lot of care to children, and express that this sponsorship plan is very meaningful.

Ron Ng Clarifies That Shirley Yeung & Sammul Chan Are Not On Bad Terms

Ron Ng and Shirley Yeung attended a X'mas Fanta Sea function at the Metro City Plaza yesterday and other guests included the Hong Kong Olympic Surfing Gold Medalist Lee Lai Shan and husband Wong Tak Sum. Ron and Shirley's "A Chip Off The Old Block" recently sired and this week's top rating was above 30 points, making the two very happy. However, there has been criticism saying that the series had copied the classic "Old Time Buddy". Ron reveals that they did not do so, the subject matter is just similar and is a relaxing comedy. Shirley says: "There has been very little series based on the 60s, so I have been watching myself. Now there are people calling me 'Fen Nu' (character's name)". (You have scenes where you have to take your clothes off?) "It is needed for the storyline".

There has been recent reports that when Shirley was filming "The Comeback Family", she was on bad terms with Sammul Chan. Asking Ron is Shirley is hard to work with? He supports her and says: "She is the female actress that I have worked with the most and so I do not think she is hard to work with. After "Laughing Gor Turning Point", the Shaw Brothers will be starting a New Years film "The 72 Tenants". Besides inviting foreign popular movie stars to participate in this new film, TVB artistes of course "took care" of their own "kids" (artistes) that are under TVB management. Several TVB artistes will also take part in this new film.

The producer for "The 72 Tenants" Virgina Lok revealed that TVB has arranged "Chai Gau" who recently became very popular, "Long Leg Crab" Koni Lui, Myolie Wu, Bosco Wong, Shirley Yeung and Kenneth Ma to make an appearance. When Miss Hong Kong winner Shirley Yeung is doing an exclusive interview with Wangyi, she reveals that her favourite American drama is "Sex and the City", but also enjoys "Friends". She believes that those series are worth watching: "the atmosphere with America dramas are very natural, which are probably aided through the use different camera angles. As for Hong Kong dramas, their way of emphasising issues are more dramatic. The facial expressions of Hong Kong actors need to be more exaggerated, for example, you must express your pain of headaches greatly, but this is all too obvious. I hope that Hong Kong dramas will learn from American dramas."

Shirley says that in "Sex and the City", American women/girls are very different to women/girls in Hong Kong, and as for "Friends" which is very funny, is very worthwhile to watch.

As for American dramas that are only aired once a week, makes Shirley admire the American actors very much "because they are able to research their role in great detail. For example, if the role needs to ride horses, there is actually time allowed for actors to learn; but its very different in Hong Kong - sometimes you will only know what your role is the week before."

Miss Hong Kong Shirley Yeung has already left school days, but feelings for her mother school remain. This is because she started her education at this school when she was 6 years of age, and even injured herself playing sport. Beginning from Year 1 of primary school, Shirley studied at Kowloon's Maryknoll Fathers School until she graduated in Form 7.

Shirley Yeung's Old Neighbour Committed Suicide

Shirley Yeung's old neighbour was diagnosed with depression after resigning her job at a public company years ago. She then moved to a new house in Sham Shui Tai Shui Hang with her father to heal her sickness. However, yesterday she followed her mother's footsteps, whom also committed suicide by jumping off a building.

The woman's surname is Ho and is 44 years of age. 2001 Miss Hong Kong winner Shirley had also lived in that building. Ron Ng Wipes Mouth After Kissing Shirley Yeung

Yesterday, Ron Ng, Shirley Yeung and Sunny Chan appeared at a goldfish store in Sai Wan (Western District) to film a kissing scene for the new series "The Truth Of Father Him". Ron also brought along his sickness to film his kissing scene with Shirley. Shirley laughs that she is afraid that there are more germs than a "salty pork mouth", but as for Ron, he wipes his mouth after kissing Shirley.

Before the scene, both artistes ate gum to maintain a taste of freshness in their mouths. Recently, there have been many reports about a "salty pork hand" . However, Shirley is not worried at all. Ron says: "There are so many neighbours and reporters at the scene. No matter what angle or how it is filmed, it is all up to the directors decision. We have already finished discussing this issue, so we are not afraid of people saying anything."

Ron and Shirley's kiss lasted almost a whole minute, making bystanders watch in great interest. Although the two are professionals, they only took one take and completed the scene. Unfortunately the camera suddenly ran out of batteries so they were forced to film the scene again.

After the camera stopped rolling both times, Ron immediately used his hands to wipe his mouth when the kiss finished. He laughs: "Shirley's lip are too awesome! Her lip gloss is so thick." Ron also revealed that he brought his sickness to work: "A few days early I had gastroenteritis and within a day, I needed to go toilet over 20 times. Therefore, I had no choice but to go to the doctors and had a needle injected in me. Now I am feeling much better." Shirley heard and immediately comments: "Wow! Why didn't you tell me? Is it contagious? Luckily my immune system is good, so I don't think anything will happen."

Shirley reveals that she must constantly chew on gum throughout the series, making her teeth gums all sore and loose: "In the series, I am a superwoman. I kissed Ron the first time I saw him, I have a lot of guts!"

Yesterday, Shirley Yeung arrived at Tsim Sha Tsui to attend the "2009 TV Next Awards" ceremony. TVB's new series "The Truth Of Father Him" was filming a ballet dance scene with Shirley Yeung. TVB arranged her to wear a 1960's ballet dress, but the size was too small for Shirley. Known to have a tight-bursting body figure, Shirley had some difficulties breathing, she said with no choice: "The dress is like for children, I couldn't put it on, fortunately in the end I was able to do it and I'm like a White Swan, so pretty!"

As Shirley only had dancing scenes that day, she did not have an preparations and she even did many difficult movements, she said: "Fortunately I often practice, the instructor told me to do a split, I was only able to barely do it, but using my toes to spin my body around is quite hard for me.
